Guru Sikha Gowri
Sikha Gowri founded Art of Natraj to teach Kuchipudi the way she was taught — with patience, exactness, and devotion. Trained under senior gurus in the Kuchipudi tradition, she has spent years refining her own practice before opening the academy's doors. Her students range from five-year-olds learning their first adavu to teenagers preparing for solo recitals.

The Academy
Art of Natraj operates from a single studio in Guntur and welcomes online students from across India and abroad. We deliberately stay small. One Guru. Personal attention. Real progress. We do not run franchises. We do not sell shortcuts. What we offer is the slow, careful transmission of a 2,000-year-old form to whoever is willing to learn it properly.
About Kuchipudi
Kuchipudi is one of the eight classical dance forms of India, originating in the village of Kuchipudi in coastal Andhra Pradesh. It combines pure dance (nritta), expressive storytelling (nritya), and dramatic narrative (natya). Traditional items include the Jathiswaram, Sabdam, Kirtanam, and the signature Tarangam — performed on the rim of a brass plate. Every adavu carries a thousand years of refinement.
